**About us**:
The main focus of the Department of Neuroinflammation is research into multiple sclerosis (MS). We employ a broad range of basic and clinical methods, including clinical therapeutic trials.

The department is recognised worldwide as a center of excellence for MS research, building on the strong foundation established by Prof. Ian McDonald, memorialised in the internationally accepted “McDonald Criteria” for disease diagnosis in MS.

**About the role**:
We are seeking a Research Coordinator to support observational clinical studies, mainly in multiple sclerosis, including participant enrolment and clinical data collection, biological sample collection and preparation for analysis, and curation of NHS clinical data. You will also act as a contact point for colleagues in similar posts based elsewhere at UCL and UCLH, and pro-actively establish links to share experience and skills where possible.

The post is available from 01 May 2023 and funded by the NIHR UCLH BRC for eighteen months in the first instance.

**About you**:
You will have a first or high 2:1 degree (BA/BSc) in a discipline related to this project, or nursing degree, or other nursing qualification. Excellent organisational and communication skills are essential, as is experience of recruiting participants to research studies.
