You'll be working for Saint Gobain Supply Chain in Newton Abbot which is one of more than 30 exciting Saint-Gobain brands in the UK and a busy supply chain hub for National House Builders.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Manager to join our team on a full time basis. You will support the Operations Manager in the day to day running of the site, ensuring that all goods are dispatched accurately and on time whilst maintaining asafe working environment. Previous experience working within a dispatch/warehouse environment would be highly beneficial.

**Hours: Monday - Friday**

As an Assistant Manager we are looking for someone has strong communication and commercial awareness, whilst being able to support the Operations Manager in empowering the team to achieve set targets.

**What will I be doing?**
Our Assistant Managers are an important contributor to the teams shared success and an essential part of the day to day operations of the site. In order to support our customers and deliver a great service you will;
- Act as first line support to the Operations Manager to lead and support the team to deliver success and suggest opportunities for continuous improvement
- Have excellent attention to detail in order to ensure all outgoing deliveries are accurate
- Have experience of working within a dispatch/warehouse environment
- Use our in-house systems to process customer orders, organise delivery times, and keep customers updated throughout their journey
- Maintain stock levels, carrying out regular stock counts
- Lead your team to make Health & Safety a priority and demonstrate how you can keep yourself and others safe at work
