Alumni Engagement Associate, Physical Sciences

In this role, you will have the chance to work both independently and alongside team members within Cambridge University Development and Alumni Relations (CUDAR), as well as the School of Physical Sciences and the wider University community. Your primary goal will be to develop and initiate a comprehensive engagement program, which will include local, national, international, and online activities, as well as communications materials related to the School of Physical Sciences and its constituent departments.
Through strategic management of these engagement opportunities, you will aim to enhance alumni involvement, reinforce existing relationships, and encourage alumni to contribute to the School through volunteering and philanthropic channels, ultimately adding value and supporting the School's strategic priorities. Additionally, you will collaborate with various teams across Collegiate Cambridge, including CUDAR, OEAC, other colleges, academic schools, and institutions to create targeted communications materials and content that reach external constituencies through relevant channels.
The Alumni Engagement team is accountable for increasing the breadth and depth of engagement with the University's community of over 300,000 ambassadors, advocates and supporters who are critical to the delivery of our strategic goals and the University of Cambridge's significant potential.
