We are seeking an Assistant Church Officer to join our friendly Kirk Family.

Working to a contracted 15 hours a week, the hours are required to be flexible to meet the Kirk's busy environment with many services, concerts and events taking place throughout the year. The salary shown is £9276 for 15 hours but some weeks there will be more hours, hence the flexibility requirement, banking additional hours to be taken off during quieter times. There are also additional payments for Weddings and Funerals

Reporting to the church officer the role does include Manual Handling e.g. moving tables and chairs for various events. We would be particularly interested in applicants who have “odd job” ability. The Assistant Church Office will cover for the Church Officer on the incumbent’s absence. As the role involves working with the public a disclosure certificate will be required.
