Sure Antennas are a subsidiary of SFL Mobile Radio (Holdings) Ltd who deliver vehicle antenna solutions predominantly into the Emergency Services and Critical Communications sector. Reporting to the Senior Electronics Designer, you will be working within the R&D Department. Primarily, the role is focused on electronics and antenna development for new and improving existing products. Tasks will be varied and include activities such as PCB design, 3D modelling, Schematic design, CAD and ongoing updates and improvements to existing products and processes.

**Main responsibilities include**:

- Working with the senior design manager to develop new and existing antenna products.
- Ensuring that all wiring of assemblies are designed to the correct quality standard to meet production and after sales deadlines.
- Being a strong member of the 5S Group Team and effectively communicating this to your team.
- Ensuring all design and build processes are fully documented.
- Helping and supporting others with training when possible by passing on knowledge and skills.
- Ensuring that their working area is a safe and clean environment and in compliance with the 5S best practice and health & safety policies.
- Using personal judgement and initiative to develop effective and constructive solutions to challenges and obstacles in day to day activities and procedures within the specified role.
- Maintaining personal ability in, and appropriate use of, all relevant IT (Information & Technology) and other systems required to adequately perform the role.
- Acting ethically, with integrity and in the best interest of the business at all times.
- Maintaining a professional and supportive relationship with team members and other departments in order to deliver business and delivery objectives or deadlines.
- Have a Degree in Electronic Engineering or be HNC/HND qualified in Electronic Engineering.
- Have a passion for electronics and RF in this background.
- Have the ability to write, read & understand electronic drawings.
- Have previous experience of Schematics and PCB layout (Fusion 360 preferred).
- Have previous experience of working with Modelling and simulation such as Fusion 360, HFSS or similar products.
- Familiar with working within an Electronic manufacturing or similar environment.
- The ability to communicate in a professional but friendly manner.
- A good attention to detail with a commitment to ensuring quality & quantity of output.
- Required to be flexible able to work in all areas on their own or part of a team.
- Possess a will do attitude.
- Have the ability to communicate at all levels.

**It may be an advantage if you had**:

- Knowledge of working with microprocessors.
