**Job details**:

- The School of Medicine and Dentistry has a growing Vision Sciences provision area. As the Vision Sciences provision develops and expands, there is a need for staff to assist in the leadership and delivery of the programmes.

The School wishes to appoint a full time Senior Lecturer in Optometry and Ophthalmic Dispensing to support the development of the Vision Sciences educational provision, quality assurance, and assessment of credit and non-credit bearing courses in this area. The post holder should have experience with working with and to the requirements and standards of professional accreditation bodies and have the ability to build productive relationships with colleagues of varying degrees of seniority across the University.

Applicants need to meet all essential criteria on the person specification to be considered for interview. This position is based in Preston. An MRS may be considered in appropriate circumstances.
