Crane Field Service Engineer

Our global leading client who manufacture loader cranes, truck-mounted forklifts and tail lifts is looking for Field Service Engineers in the South East.

You will be responsible for maintaining, servicing and repairing equipment, whilst providing a good level of customer service, through product knowledge and customer interaction.

They are looking for people who live a 30 minute drive anywhere near the M25 corridor.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Undertake servicing of equipment at their customer sites
- Complete all service, repair, warranty and inspection jobs allocated daily, to a high quality standard
- Build strong rapport and relationships with customers
- Respond to routine enquiries from customers about the technical aspects of the organisations products and services
- Complete all job related paperwork in an accurate and timely manner to ensure correct invoicing to the customer
- Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve standard technical problems that arise, ensure ongoing customer satisfaction

**REQUIRED SKILLS**:

- Mechanical/Electrical Engineering education
- Experience in multi-skilled engineering
- Experience in mechanical, hydraulic or electrical operations
- Excellent customer focused approach
- Strong problem solver
- Quality orientated
- Proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships
- Driving licence

**HOURS AND SALARY**:
Salary - £35,000

Monday-Friday 40 hours per week

Company van, mobile phone and PDA
