Do you have project management experience, and are you seeking a new job in Walkden Electricity North West is looking for a PMO Lead, and the PMO role comes with a salary of up to £55,000 and excellent benefits.

**Appointment to this role will be as a 12 month fixed term contract.**

**Our role**

As a PMO Lead, you will work closely with the other IT functions and aligned to a specific programme to ensure that projects are delivered to meet business and regulatory requirements in a cost-effective manner and deliver agreed business outcomes by holding sponsors and project teams to account.

In your first week in this PMO Lead role, you can expect to:

- Work with the portfolio manager to ensure projects deliver to meet time, cost and quality measures
- Track and report performance against baselines, business cases, risks and issues for key projects
- Support project managers and ensure delivery documentation meets PDL requirements
- Establish and monitor project management standards and defined in the project delivery lifecycle (PDL).
- Detailed understanding of project delivery frameworks
- Experience supporting a PMO function (project intake, resource demand planning, budget management, issue and dependency management, stakeholder identification and analysis, benefits mapping, lessons learnt etc)
- Experience using a PPM tool
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to describe technical issues in a non-technical way.
