Medlock Partners are partnering up with a non-for-profit organisation who are looking for a HR professional, ready for a next challenge, with strong HR Generalist experience. This role would suit someone keen to progress their career into a HR Advisor role.
This is a widely varied role where you will work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, influencing and contributing your HR expertise across all levels of the organisation.

Key responsibilities of the HR Advisor:

- Provide advice and guidance to managers on employment law, HR strategy and employment policy and procedures.
- Play a key role in the employee well-being and engagement strategies.
- Act as point of contact and adviser within the HR service for Maternity/Paternity and other flexible working provisions in accordance with legislation.
- To liaise with managers in respect of casework as appropriate including disciplinary, capability, absence management, performance management and grievance.
- Prepare and deliver timely relevant reports. Management information and project work to the Management team.
- To contribute to the development of strategies and HR policies and procedures.
- To manage the on-boarding of staff with accordance to safeguarding and safe recruitment processes.
- Confidently produce management information and reports including the analysis of data.
Key requirements for the HR Advisor:

- To be considered for this role, you must have up-to-date knowledge of developments in Employment Law and best practice.
- Must have HR generalist experience or previously worked in a similar HR Advisor role
- You will be a confident communicator who is able to build positive working relationships with a wide range of colleagues and managers.
- Ability to perform under own initiative and as part of a team and work under pressure and to deadlines.
- Able to travel and work flexible hours as necessary to fulfill the duties of the post.
- CIPD qualified or committed to working towards.
