We own and operate the national gas network, delivering energy to where it is needed in every part of the country.

For business, we fuel growth and innovation, and we are looking to the future by developing the hydrogen transmission system of tomorrow.The Degree apprenticeship you will join the National Gas Transmission Ops team at one of our operational sites around the country. Working with a larger team you’ll maintain pipelines, terminals and compressors to ensure the safe, secure and reliable operation of the gas network. The gas network that keeps our homes warm and our lights on.We welcome all learners from diverse backgrounds, as we know diverse minds bring new ideas and a different way of thinking. There is a requirement to have STEM related A levels or HNC/HND in any field and you must bring an inquisitive mind, an ability to solve problems, good communication skills and a desire to work in a fast paced essential industry that will mean you can make a difference from day one.
