**Senior Special Events and Projects Manager**

Job description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Events and Project Manager, who will be responsible for putting together a strategic Special Events programme across Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB).

Working in partnership with key stakeholders you'll influence and move forward RNIB's strategy and increase engagement with and relevance of RNIB to key audiences, including volunteers, donors, and supporters.

**What you'll be doing**

You will lead a small team in the planning, execution, and management of RNIB's flagship events such as National Conferences, Award Ceremonies, and High-Profile fundraising events.

You will also be involved in the execution of Brand and Marketing initiatives that provide extensive reach of RNIB's messages of accessibility and inclusion, helping us work towards our strategic priority of 'changing public perceptions and behaviours'.

**What you'll need to succeed in this role**

Significant demonstrable experience in developing and organising national complex event/project plans aligned to achieving organisational strategic objectives.

Substantial experience of developed professional expertise and proficiency in terms of planning, delivering, managing, budgeting and evaluating events.

Proven track record of being an inspirational and resilient leader, great communicator, and team player, particularly during times of change.
