**Job Introduction**:
We are currently seeking a Tank Farm Team Member to join us at our Girvan site, to receive, prepare and process spirit from Distilleries & Liquid Supply Operations teams in order to meet internal and external customer requirements fully complying with all relevant compliance legislation.

**Main Responsibility**:

- Ensure that safe working practises are adhered to in line with ISO 9001, ISO 18001 and HMRC requirements for compliance.
- Liaise with Girvan Dufftown Spirit Supply teams to plan delivery of spirit to Tank Farm to enable timely and accurate processing to meet internal and external customer requirements.
- Control the accurate receipt and delivery of spirit tankers in order to discharge to Vats with minimum loss of spirit.
- Conducts spirit loss calculation in order to determine reduction requirements in terms of water and caramel requirements.
- Load tankers (New Make and Mature) as per customer requirements ensuring that all losses and gains are accurately captured and recorded.
- Collects spirit samples and performs quality checks at predetermined points in the process to ensure quality is being achieved and maintained.
- Administers the data input for tanker receipt, tanker despatch and quality data to WG&S systems in order to track spirit effectively and accurately.
- Conduct basic maintenance, safety checks and housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and organised work environment.

- Basic level of competence for Microsoft Word and Excel packages
- Awareness of HMRC legislation
- Awareness of Drams and/or ERP systems
- Previous working knowledge with Spirit
- Basic engineering awareness
- Proven track record in practising problem solving techniques
