The opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity to be the vital link between our advisers, the compliance department, and the wider business. Think of yourself as our first line of support, you'll be the trusted point of contact that our advisers will reach out to when they have a question about compliance and other matters. We don't necessarily require a technical guru, but we need someone who can assess a question and answer it or find out the answer and report it back. You'll need to use your organisational skills to manage the requests, deliver the answers, track the adviser response, and follow things through to ensure 100% satisfaction. Through managing our static resources too, you will take ownership of vetting and established improvements to our resources that can be consulted without you needing to be asked first. We want someone who is going to be seen as a reliable and authoritative point of contact and who can challenge the status quo, ask us why we do things the way we do and suggest improvements.

The role

Working in the compliance team and alongside senior people in our company duties will include:
Building credible working relationships with our advisers.

Become the go to person, answering questions or referring them to other technical experts the company.

Keep a log of all enquiries and the outcomes.

Monitor issues and trends and any adviser knowledge gaps and suggest improvement to the way we work.

Oversee our static resources and training materials.

Ad hoc projects and file reviews.

Excellent people skills, confident and good at building and maintaining relationships.

Be able to work on multiple tasks at the same time.

Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.

A self-starter with a can-do attitude.

Progress towards or holding CII Diploma or equivalent.

Excellent IT skills.

Additional information

Home based, this role offers flexibility to work from home however, to effectively execute the role, a regular presence in our London office would be required.
