Principal Building Surveyor

**The job itself**:
Building Facilities are a multidisciplinary team providing a wide range of building surveying and engineering services to both internal and external clients on a wide range of properties including schools, leisure centres and our housing stock. We have a very busy and varied workload delivering a planned and capital programme of circa £20m per annum. We are seeking a Principal Building Surveyor to work in our team based at County Hall, Beverley. Please note the post allows a large degree of agile working after an initial period of training.

You should hold a BSc in Building Surveying and ideally be a Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS).

You should be a highly motivated individual and possess significant Building Surveying experience across a full range of traditional Building Surveying services such as building surveys, feasibility reports and advice to clients on a wide range of property related issues.

The successful applicant will lead a team of professional staff delivering a variety of work programmes across the portfolio of properties. You should have significant experience undertaking a wide range of projects and be a good communicator and mentor to other team members.
