**_ The role_**
- We are seeking a Permanent Job Share Operative in our biscuit plant (AP6). In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe running of the production process. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a well-established and globally recognised company with a reputation for innovation and excellence. We are always looking for talented individuals to work across our Weetabix plants._

**You will work an average of 21 hours per week over an 8-week period, rotating days and nights, working 12-hour shift patterns. Sharing the role with another Production Operator carrying out the same working hours.
**Responsibilities**:

- Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure efficient production processes
- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet the highest standards
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any production-related issues
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and deadlines
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock management
- Participate in training sessions to improve skills and knowledge

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred but with the right attitude and aptitude, on the job training will be provided
- Health and Safety awareness
- Ability to follow and respect factory strict guidelines
- Basic IT, Literacy and numeracy Skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment
- A positive can-do attitude
- Flexibility to work shifts and support other team members
- Basic understanding of health and safety regulations
- Proactive approach and ability to problem solve
- Flexibility to work in different shifts and job-share arrangements
