We currently have an opportunity for a Materials Controller to join our team.

**About Brookvent**

Brookvent is an award-winning manufacturer, specialising in residential ventilation systems, based just outside Belfast in Dunmurry.

As a leading UK manufacturer, the company designs and produces a wide range of products from high performing Glazed-In Window Vents to market leading Heat Recovery Ventilation systems (HRV/MVHR). Brookvent is expanding its operations and we’re looking for a determined individual to be part of our team.

**Responsibilities**

**Co-ordinating materials**
- Computation of purchase order processed material requirements
- Purchase order placement & management for all lines of raw materials and finished factored goods to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Computation of all required forward metal extrusions, to ensure continuity of supply into metal consignment stock & through into Brookvent stock
- Responsible for all raw material material expediting
- Communicating stock return dates
- Purchase to pay process authorisation from purchase order placement through to supplier invoice authorisation / coding & resolution of any subsequent supplier invoice queries
- Work closely with all operational teams, including production, quality, design and sourcing, to ensure continuity of supply
- Staff recruitment, retention, development, discipline and H&S for Warehouse Operators
- Organisation and management of all company logistics

**Inventory Control**
- Sage setups for new items & ongoing item maintenance
- Troubleshooting Sage issues for own & other departments (stock allocation issues stopping invoicing/resolving stock inaccuracies etc)
- Complete all necessary transactions to ensure system vs physical accuracy
- Ah-Hoc report writing to enable system driven business intelligence to be queried from Sage
- Supplier management, process control and day-to-day supply chain stakeholder management to highlight any current/upcoming issues
- Work closely with all operational teams, including production, quality, design and sourcing, to ensure continuity of supply
- Proactively develop and maintain effective relationships with vendor partners at all levels
- Month end stock valuation reporting
- Inventory system housekeeping
- Management of annual stock take
- Conduct annual supplier risk analysis/highlight any uncovered issues

**ISO Management**
- ISO Management representative - Responsible for maintenance of all required tasks - internal audits, process & policy updates etc, associated record keeping and legal requirement updates for ISO 9001 & 14001
- Conduct & record annual ISO system management review
- Organisation of any required training (forklift refresher courses etc)
- Reporting of KPIs - OTIF/Customer complaints/metal yield
- Management & recording for all production waste processing/collection & disposal
- Maintenance of calibration records/organising internal & offsite instrument calibration
- Maintenance of COSHH/plant registers

**Requirements**:

- Proven extensive relevant experience of scheduling high volumes of material to meet production demands.
- Clear communication skills
- Computer literate with experience of logistic and stock control systems
- Good numeracy, literacy, IT skills and
- High organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good commercial acumen
- Flexibility and ability to work under own initiative and to deadlines

**Remuneration**
- Salary negotiable dependent on experience
- 30 days’ annual leave including stats
- Additional long service annual leave
- Company pension scheme
- Company sick pay
- 37.5hrs per week. 8.30-5 Mon to Thurs, 8.30 - 2.30 Fri

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
