Business and IP Centre Devon is part of Libraries Unlimited, the charity responsible for running the library service in Devon and Torbay. We believe in the power of libraries to enrich people’s lives and build thriving communities, and our business support services play a crucial role in raising aspirations and supporting the local Devon economy.

We’re looking for an experienced marketing professional to develop, implement and contribute to the delivery of the communications and marketing strategy for BIPC Devon, helping to build the charity’s reputation as a provider of high-quality business support services.

Reporting to the Business Support Manager, you’ll take the lead on a range of marketing projects, delivering high-quality, integrated, creative and flexible marketing campaigns, materials and activities to engage potential and existing customers in the range of business support services available through BIPC Devon.

What you’ll bring to Libraries Unlimited:

- Previous experience in communications and/or marketing, with experience of delivering campaigns, co-ordinating design and print for marketing materials, event marketing and brand development
- Up-to-date knowledge of the fundamentals of marketing theory and best practice
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to adapt to differing audiences and situations
- Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with a variety of different stakeholders
- Ability to make decisions, multi-task and prioritise workload, and take the initiative
- Excellent organisational skills, including being able to meet deadlines
- Ideally, a Level 4 professional marketing or public relations qualification, or equivalent experience
