Job Overview

We are seeking a Summer Intern to join our engineering team on a temporary placement. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to gain valuable work experience in a dynamic environment. The role will be based in our Preston office and hours are negotiable, between 8:30 - 17:00, Monday - Friday.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with suppliers and engineering team members to gather technical information and specifications.
- Organise and compile technical data into comprehensive data sheets on Dixons predefined template.
- Review and verify accuracy of data sheets to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Assist in updating and revising existing data sheets as needed.
- Establish and implement a process to ensure that only current and accurate data sheets are distributed.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to gather necessary information and clarify requirements.

**Requirements**:

- Currently pursuing an engineering qualification
- Ability to work independently
- Experience with technical data and data management is preferred but not essential

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 2 months

Expected hours: 20 - 37.5 per week
