Health and Safety Controller

Express Recruitment are proud to be representing one of the East Midlands fastest growing firms, who are leaders in their field. Due to continued success and major expansion plans, our client is seeking to recruit a highly competent Health and Safety Controller with tackling daily challenges and helping to drive HSE compliance throughout the organisation.
In return, our client is offering a generous remuneration package, including a starting salary of £35,000 D.O.E. In addition, you will gain excellent opportunities to develop your skill set and progress within the company through their employee assistance programme.
**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Promote Health and Safety compliance and company policies across the business
- Ensure all Health and Safety obligations are being met and adhered to
- Manage and implement ISO 9001 quality and compliance standards
- Ensure all administration work is completed in a timely fashion
- Ensure the equipment on site is up to date and installed and maintained to the satisfaction of the company.
**Skills & Experience**
- NEBOSH certification desirable
- IOSH Managing Safely trained
- Experience in a similar safety role
- Capable of reading and interpreting DWG’s
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft office package
- Strong time management skills and the ability to manage your own time effectively
