Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:
1. Manage a caseload of approximately 300 files, ensuring timely and accurate handling of claims.

2. Work proactively to achieve monthly set targets, focusing on maximizing returns for the company.

3. Negotiate settlements of losses, using effective communication and negotiation skills.

4. Handle incoming post and telephone calls related to credit hire claims promptly and professionally.

5. Resolve liability and quantum disputes by conducting thorough investigations and analysis.

6. Process payments received from insurers or other relevant parties accurately and efficiently.

7. Instruct solicitors to issue legal proceedings when necessary, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

8. Maintain regular and clear communication with clients, referrers, solicitors, and insurers, providing updates on claim progress and any developments.

9. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth and efficient claims process.

10. Stay updated with industry regulations, trends, and best practices related to credit hire claims.

**Requirements**:
1. Previous experience in handling insurance credit hire claims is essential.

2. Excellent negotiation and settlement skills, with a proven track record of achieving positive outcomes.

3. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to resolve liability and quantum disputes effectively.

4. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport with various stakeholders.

5. Proficient in handling a high volume of caseloads while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.

6. Familiarity with relevant legal and regulatory frameworks related to credit hire claims.

7. Proactive and self-motivated individual who can work independently and as part of a team.

8. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively under pressure.

9. Proficient in using computer systems and software to manage claims efficiently.

10. A customer-centric approach with a commitment to delivering excellent service.
