We are looking for an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our team.

We are a growing, friendly, family-run company that has been trading for over 29 years. We currently have 17 members of staff based in our Charing workshop.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and friendly team.

We are very proud to be one of only a few companies in Kent to have completed and maintained our UKCA accreditation and have done so for the last 8 years. This goes to prove our commitment to excellence in both the quality of our work and our level of customer service.

At Hatch, there are opportunities to improve your skills and learn new ones. For example, we recently purchased a new plasma cutter, and members of the team are now experts at using it.

We want all our people to grow as the company grows. One of our directors started as an apprentice aged 14 and worked his way up to the board.

We have a wide variety of work from simple production-line fabrication (e.g. railings and skids) through to larger architectural works including staircases, agricultural buildings, and individual commissions.

Ideally, you will have:

- experience of reading complex engineering drawings for structural steelwork.
- experience of installing steelwork on site.
- flexibility to work on your own or as part of a team
- a ‘can do attitude’
- achieved City & Guilds diploma in Engineering Welding and Fabrication or equivalent qualification.
- experience in working to exceptionally high standards.
- experience of MIG AND MAA Welding
- experience of problem-solving.
- A full UK driving licence

Also, it would be helpful if you have the following:

- Experience in CE procedures
- CSCS Card
- Forklift Truck Certificate
- IPAF Card

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £14.00-£16.00 per hour
