Events Co-ordinator

Due to the success of Spanish City a vacancy has arisen for an Events Co-ordinator & Admin Assistant to join our office team. Spanish City is a multi-faceted quality hospitality enterprise consisting or restaurants, tearoom, functions suite and bars. In addition to our standard operation we plan many special events throughout the year including our Annual Christmas Market, Christmas Light switch on, Comedy nights and Tribute nights.
On a day-to-day basis your tasks may include:
- Attending face to face appointments with prospective and existing customers to plan their special events.
- Making reservations at our outlets across the site.
- Planning events and carrying out show arounds
- Generating function sheets.
- Processing venue reports
- Organising gift vouchers made online and by phone.
- Preparing food pre orders and processing deposits.
- Preparing daily / weekly reports.
This is a full-time role (40 hours per week over 5 days). This could be a fantastic role for someone who has previously worked events front of house but would like to learn the planning side of events but is open to anyone with previous hospitality experience or someone who has previous events planning experience that would like to develop their experience further by working for Spanish City.
Hours per week will vary from 10-6, 9-5 and 12-8pm but a fixed working pattern could be agreed but working weekends will be a requirement.
