The Master Production Scheduler is responsible for the process of creating & maintaining the Master Plans in the ERP system.
This includes establishing a plan which satisfies the Customer requirements, meets the Inventory targets and is supported by a commitment from Production and a Load & Capacity validation.
Responsibilities will include:
To establish the Master Production Schedule in the ERP system, meeting both:
- The Customer requirements
- The split between the various configurations expected by the Customers (if applicable)
- The target stock level as per the Company policy
To ensure the plans are adhering to the various planning parameters as and when required: Safety Time, Safety Stock, Quotas & workshare, etc
To lead the MPS monthly meetings with all required parties, in order to collectively agree & commit on a master plan on a 2 years horizon.
To lead the MPS weekly meetings with all required parties, in order to collectively agree & commit on a master plan on a 52 weeks horizon.
To assess the feasibility of the master schedules that are being proposed in terms of capacity requirements.
To monitor the adherence to the weekly plan, running the root cause analysis in case of deviation to the plan and establishing an action plan to avoid any reoccurrence.
To monitor the consistency of the Master Production Schedules with the Production Plan (assembly & machining levels).
To maintain the MPS related KPIs for the site.
To attend and support the Sales & Operations Planning processes: Demand Reviews, Production Plan reviews, Internal Supply reviews, Load & Capacity reviews, etc
To continuously contribute to improving the Planning processes.
To contribute to the definition of the Global Data processes
