This new role in the business offers an exciting opportunity for the right individuals to develop further in their career both as a Trainer and manager. You’ll be joining a friendly, dedicated team and playing a crucial role in the new structure of the Nurseplus Training department.

This role is fundamentally about overseeing a portfolio of Trainers to ensure there is sufficient coverage of competent and high quality Trainer resource to meet the Branches needs as well as supporting the National Training Manager in driving forward newtraining initiatives to ensure that Nurseplus meets its legislative, professional and regulatory requirements.

This will be achieved through engaging fully in the recruitment process for new Trainers, continuously developing new and existing Trainers through training, mentoring and monitoring, anticipating and responding to changing coverage needs based on availabilityand the recruitment pipeline in Branches and clear communication with the National Training Manager, Training Administrator, Area Managers, Branch teams and Trainers. The NTL is also responsible for delivering Training as needed including core mandatory andadditional developmental courses.

**The main duties of the Regional Training Lead role include**:

- Leading and managing a team of Trainers within the Region including day to day management, monitoring, supervision, absence management to ensure they are supported and meeting the required standard
- Coordinating coverage needs of the Branches within the Region to ensure Branches are able to schedule Training on a regular basis to meet the demand of their recruitment pipeline and ongoing compliance of existing Workers
- Working with the Training Administrator to ensure clear record keeping and communication as needed
- Having a high level of awareness of the training spend and ensure training is delivered in a cost effective way.
- Delivering Training including core mandatory and additional developmental courses.
- Supporting the National Training Manager in rolling out new or updated training content and driving best practice
- Actively demonstrate Nurseplus values in all aspects of the role and lead by example
- Work flexibly, as required, on any Nurseplus site or external premises.
- Good basic education - GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths Grade C or above
- Knowledge and experience working in health and social care
- Excellent organisational, communication and time management skills
- The ability to motivate others and lead training
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
- Computer literate
- Flexibility to work across a wide geographical area
- Current UK driving licence or ability to travel
- Hold current Trainer qualification desirable
- Safety Intervention/MAPA certification desirable
