Subject Access Requests Officer

Job Summary The post holder is responsible for providing information for SARS requests (Subject Access Requests) under GDPR and Data Protection i.e. Personal, Third Party and Healthcare requests, under the official guidelines. They will be an integral part of the Health Records team, administering the SARS process in accordance with GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 and, for requests relating to deceased patients, in accordance with the Access to Health Records Act 1990, ensuring that all requests are handled within legislated timescales. The Access Officer will work within a small team within the Health Records department and will ensure that all work is completed in a timely and professional manner.
