**Cello is looking for an **_**Experienced FOH Team Member / Barista,**_**to join our expanding friendly team**

Cello is a very busy and fast paced Coffee House in the heart of Greenhill, Sheffield S8, it is part of the busy, bustling local community.

We currently have a vacancy for an Experienced FOH Assistant / Barista. This person must be friendly, enthusiastic, hardworking and a strong team player who wants to pursue a career in a coffee house (this is a tough fast paced job) and the right person will have a very good availability to work. The role will include working in a very busy coffee house, giving excellent customer service, as well as serving our excellent Sheffield roasted coffee, and homemade food.

Progression is also readily available for the right applicant.

**Job Summary**

Number of hours / wage is negotiable but will include weekends. The successful applicant must be flexible with availability as we are open 7 days a week, and be available between 8:15am and 4:30pm during the week, and 8:45am and 4:30pm at weekends.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Greet customers with excellent customer service skills
- Take food and drink orders
- Make multiple drinks simultaneously using a coffee machine
- Clearing tables, washing pots and maintaining cleanliness in customer areas
- Get involved in basic food preparation in the kitchen
- Able to help assist in the training of new staff
- Remain lively and motivated through the day
- Helping to close down at the end of the day
- Maintain a clean and tidy workstation
- Maintaining stock levels throughout the day

**Qualifications and Skills**
- **Exceptional customer service skills, ideally 2 year minimum**:

- **Experience at supervising / management of staff**:

- Ability to multi-task in a busy environment, whilst maintain quality
- **Experience as a barista, minimum 2 year preferred**:

- Experience in food preparation, minimum 1 year preferred but not essential
- Have an outgoing personality and be comfortable talking with customers
- Be organised, hard-working and reliable
- Be flexible and highly motivated to work within a small but dedicated team
- Ability to stay calm while working under pressure
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong team and individual player

Pay: £7.95-£10.72 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
