What you'll be doing
- Leading the analysis and management of demand, including our front door of pipeline requests
- Ensuring our value stream backlogs are strongly influenced by data-led insights, and support progressing in relevant technologies and customer expectations according to wider business strategy
- Delivering commercial targe and value realisation. Leading the measurement of performance across all value streams through detailed analytics and customer feedback
- Producing regular reporting to analyse and demonstrate progress against agreed measure and value delivery
- Working in partnership with the Head of Digital Experience to build a deep understanding of all business unit aspirations and objectives for customer self-service
- Determining, monitoring and reviewing product financials, including costs, staffing requirements, resources and risk, ensuring that there are appropriate and effective governance arrangements in place
- Ensuring that digital customer journeys are constructed with end customers in mind
- Leading a number of Product Owners, Engineering and Architecture SMEs across our customer-facing self-service portfolio with a key focus on aligning developments to create a consistent customer experience
What we're looking for
- A background in Product Ownership or Product Management - you have significant experience in managing digital products and projects within a complex organisation
- You are confident with product lifecycle management, specifically within an Agile environment
- Very strong in stakeholder management, you can identify decision makers and influencers in order to successfully implement target operating models
- Networking and relationship building skills - you drive resolutions forward and network internally and externally with peers to bring insights and add value knowledge
- Significant industry awareness - you are fully abreast of the latest digital technologies and customer trends. You’re confident with regulatory and legislative frameworks for digital product management
- Experience leading high performing teams, with the ability to coach and inspire others drive team members to deliver quantifiable outcomes
- Proficient in the principles, methods, techniques and tools for the preparation and monitoring of budgets to minimise costs and ensure cost-effectiveness
