We are looking to recruit a knowledgeable, resourceful, and creative practitioner with a love of maths, to support the delivery of the Multiply programme with Early Years families.

Funded by UK Government and forming key element of Bridgend’s Multiply project, the Multiply Early Years Skills Trainer will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging sessions aimed at improving the confidence of parents to support the early maths skills of their children, and to undertake numeracy qualifications of their own.

The role provides the opportunity to work flexibly in line with the requirements of the service. As a home working element is offered as part of this role, you will need to ensure you are equipped with a reliable internet connection. Applicants should also be aware that this post will require travel throughout Bridgend County and therefore a valid driving licence and the sole use of a car are a requirement of appointment.

The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post.

Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.

Criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) is a requirement for this post.
