We at Tudor Employment are thrilled to be recruiting for an Imports Coordinator on behalf of our prestigious client based in Walsall.

The client is one of the nation’s largest discount retailers, with 850 stores across the UK and 16,000 staff. The role will involve responsibility for completing fundamental tasks to maintain HMRC compliance across the business, and management of stock processing from origin to destination.

Are you the right person for this role? Desirably, the Imports Coordinator will:

- Have excellent attention to detail
- Be an advanced user of Microsoft Excel to include formulae
- Demonstrate a knowledge of the Customs process
- Possess relevant warehouse or inventory management experience
- Be an clear communicator with excellent organisational skills

What will I be doing? Day to day duties of the Imports Coordinator role are:

- Process data including funnelling, removal and submissions into CDS
- Complete the daily stock report and issue to relevant parties
- Oversee daily reconciliation data
- Assist in the auditing process in relation to HTS codes and Import/Export entries
- Provide reports to third party suppliers in relation to container clearance
- Manage supply chain partners in relation to documentation require import process
- Act proactively in the release of goods held at port
- Classify all new SKU’s raised, approximately 1200 a month
- Complete submissions to HRMC monthly
- Process and authorise all supply chain provider invoices
- Ensure all documentation for customers clearance is available prior to arrival of goods
- Request any missing information from the supply chain provider proactively

What are the hours of work?

The Imports Coordinator would be expected to work full-time, Monday to Friday. A hybrid working model is in place which can offer one/two days working from home per week following the training period.

What is the rate of pay?

The Imports Coordinator will be paid £9.75 per hour.
