**About National Craft Butchers**

National Craft Butchers (NCB) are the butchery experts, a trade association supporting independent butchers, and farm shops. NCB is a busy organisation with offices near Tunbridge Wells train station.

Membership is at the heart of everything we do. We are looking for a highly motivated, organised, efficient, and friendly Membership Co-Ordinator who can provide a strong level of support with day-to-day processing and the delivery of a first-class membership service as we seek to further develop, engage and retain our membership base.

**Key Duties & Responsibilities**
- Take ownership of maintaining accuracy of Membership database and access to benefits
- Act as first point of contact for membership enquiries
- Manage all member enquiries and ensure they are handled in a timely manner
- On board new members
- Proactively manage retention and recruitment processes
- Ensure membership renewals and payments are processed accurately and efficiently.
- Assist in daily management of digital platforms including website and social media
- Coordinate the planning and running of both external and internal member events
- Attend events and conferences to represent NCB where required - sometimes on weekends and evenings
- Contribute and support the delivery of our membership and strategic plans
- Assist in maintaining and reporting KPI’s
- Contribute to regular membership reports
- Support legislative compliance with GDPR
- To perform other ad hoc duties as required

**Person Specification**:
Qualifications and experience:

- Experience of managing CRM databases, ideally related to membership processing

Experience of internal and external event planning
- Experience of working with digital communication and marketing including website and social media.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook
- 1 year plus experience of customer support role covering multiple communication channels
- 1 year plus experience of working in an office environment

- Demonstrate a strong understanding of excellent customer service
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with different levels of membership, staff, and stakeholders
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Highly organised and efficient with strong & proven administrative skills
- Able to work independently on own initiative and able to determine which issues should be escalated
- Able to flexibly work under pressure, prioritise multiple deadlines and manage repetitive tasks effectively
- Strong numeracy skills and high standard written communication

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
