**Golf Shop Assistant**

- Midweek Shifts - £11.44 - £11.65
- Weekend Shifts - £12.30 p/h - £12.79

**Duties: -**
- **Golf Shop Duties** - making tee time bookings for guests, taking golf buggy deposits and allocating keys, giving guests general information about the golf courses, selling retail stock, and re-stocking etc.
- **Marshalling **- patrolling the courses to ensure speed of play is adequate. Also selling some goods whilst marshalling, e.g. snacks and hot/cold drinks.
- **Assisting the Golf Manager with Golf Society Bookings** - organising a golf day or one night society packages
- **Golf Coaching** (If looking to start or started your PGA qualification)

**Hours**:

- FULL-TIME preferable, but part-time will be considered.
- As a full-time employee you would generally be expected to work 5 days of the week.
- Shifts are generally 7am or 8am start, through until 6pm shop closing. **Weekend work is essential and regular **(as a hotel we are busier at the weekends than we are midweek), we do pay a higher rate of pay at the weekend).

**Person Specification**:

- **Someone with an interest in GOLF** would be welcomed as much of the function at the hotel centres around Golf.
- Someone who is starting or already has already started their the PGA qualification preferable, but not essential.
- Fast worker.
- Preferably someone who has a **clean UK drivers licence** (to enable them to drive our Golf Buggies and carry our marshalling duties).
- Looking for an honest, hardworking individuals.
- Someone who has weekend availability.
- Good communication skills necessary, both when dealing with guests in the golf shop, as well as out on the courses.

**Benefits**:
