**General Info**:

- **The Ashbury Hotel is the Largest Independent Golf Complex on one site in the UK and the 9th largest golf resort in the World**:

- Based just outside of Okehampton, Devon, the location offers easy access to areas of national beauty such as Dartmoor and the Coast Lines of Devon and Cornwall.
- The hotel offers multiple playable Golf Courses ranging from the Par 72 Kigbeare Course (6528 yards) to the 18 Hole Par 3 course, Willows (1939 yards). With the capacity to hold up to 1150 guests at any one time the Golf Courses are supported by no end of other facilities including a Multi-Use Artificial Sports Pitch, 3G Pitch, Spa, and Craft Centre.

**The Role**:

- The role we are offering will give aspiring Greenkeepers the opportunity to get a good practical feel of their chosen career, while offering existing Assistant Greenkeepers the opportunity to experience different machines, terrains and working practices.
- All new members of our team will be supervised and trained by our highly experienced current employees to ensure that their potential is realised within a short period of time.

**Your Duties**:

- Course preparation including changing holes
- Cutting practices including Greens, Tees, Approaches, and Rough.
- Machine Maintenance
- Bunker Maintenance including Raking, Edging and weeding.
- Repair and renovate turf.
- Aeration programmes.
- General Ground Care including Tree and Shrubbery Work

**Experience/Skills Required**:

- Motivated and Friendly Individuals with an eye for detail
- Ability to prioritise work loads
- Experience as an Assistant Greenkeeper preferred but Landscape Gardeners and Grounds Maintenance experience will be considered.
- Full UK Driving License and own transport due to location
- A good understanding of Health and Safety

- 40+ Hours per week
- All Year around work
