Accounts Assistant

**Role: Accounts Assistant (Maternity Cover)**
**Hours: 34hrs per week**
**Location: Ballymoney, Antrim**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Raising sales invoices and credit notes on Sage and updating master spreadsheets
- Allocating customer receipts and dealing with account queries
- Producing Aged Debt reports
- Posting supplier payments and employee expenses
- Bank reconciliations
- VAT returns & CIS returns
- Updating monthly cost and revenue information for managers
- Analysing employee timesheets
- Support finance team with general duties
**Essential Criteria**:
- 5+ GCSEs, including Maths and English
- 2 years' experience of working in a similar role
- Proficient in Excel, including the ability to use pivot tables and advanced formulas
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
**Desirable Criteria**:
- Experience of Sage 200
- Experience of working within the Construction Sector
- AAT or IATI qualified
