A long-standing relationship with the Armed Forces Covenant. We are wanting to recruit full and part time dog handlers to join our existing canine section on either a PAYE, UTR or LTD contract.

Preferred applicants will be expected to maintain/work towards a high level of proficiency along with their canine teammate through regular training and improvements.

Differing levels of experience and ability considered as mentoring is available.

A high level of animal welfare and care will **always** be expected

An exciting opportunity in the Midlands areas for varied work has presented itself, the role will be flexible in its delivery supporting the business with an ever expanding and diverse portfolio.

We are looking for Dog Handlers that are happy to travel around a number of sites each day providing a very clear visible deterrent whilst working in a public environment. The assignments are generally across the West Midlands.

**Hours of Work**

Weekdays with opportunity for additional shifts at weekends

**Rates of Pay**

£12/hr for PAYE

£13.75/hr for Self Employed and Limited Companies. On some contracts travel expenses will be paid.

**Handler Requirements**

To apply, applicants are required to have:

- A great work ethic, a positive, can-do attitude and be a team player
- Genuine understanding of their canine partners needs/welfare
- A good level of written and verbal English
- A valid frontline SIA badge
- Minimum level 2 team certificate (NASDU, NTIPDU or BIPDT)
- Continuation training (CT) records
- A suitable dog of guarding breed
- Compliant dog cages with escape hatches (must provide photographic evidence)
- Vehicles must be visible with livery. Vehicle must be unbranded (no company livery)
- Warning triangles on all exits
- Public Liability Insurance
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Professional, presentable with excellent communication skills

**Job Type**: Zero hours contract

Pay: £12.00-£13.75 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 60 per week
