Kopek Security & Facilities Ltd is a national provider of manned and canine assisted security services. We as a company, consistently strive to deliver a high standard of service.

ERS Silver Award Winners with the Armed Forces Covenant. We are wanting to recruit full and part time dog handlers to join our existing canine section.

Preferred applicants will be encouraged to maintain/work towards a high level of proficiency along with their canine teammate through regular training and improvements.

Differing levels of experience and ability considered, mentoring and training is available.

A high level of animal welfare and care will **always** be expected

**Description**

An exciting opportunity to help protect engineers around the Coventry area, whilst they go about their duties.

we are looking for a flexile person who will travel around a number of sites each day with the engineers providing a very clear visible deterrent whilst working in a public environment.

**Hours of Work**

Weekdays with opportunity for additional shifts at weekends

**Rates of Pay**

£12/hr for PAYE, £13.75/hr for Self Employed and Limited Companies Petrol allowance & Hotel maybe provided ask recruiter for terms and conditions.

**Handler Requirements**

To apply, applicants are required to have:

- Work ethics, the right attitude and be a team player
- Genuine understanding of their canine partners needs/welfare
- A good level of written and verbal English
- A valid frontline SIA badge
- Minimum level 2 team certificate (NASDU, NTIPDU or BIPDT)
- Continuation training (CT) records
- A suitable dog of guarding breed
- Compliant dog cages with escape hatches (must provide photographic evidence)
- Vehicles must be visible with livery Vehicle must be unbranded (no company livery)
- Warning triangles on all exits
- Public Liability Insurance
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Professional, presentable with excellent communication skills
- Smart black uniform & boots with clean hi-vis/tactical vest

(yellow/black dependent on site)

**All applicants will be screened and vetted to BS 8517 and BS 7858 and provide a 5 year checkable work history with 3yrs referencing completed before commencing work.**

**Salary**: £12.00-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 60 per week
