Customer Service Delivery Planner River Don x2 37 Hours per Week
Main Purpose of the Role
The Customer Services Delivery Planner works within the Supply Chain Team, reporting into the Customer Service Delivery Manager and is responsible for the management of the orderbook aligned to capacity and customer demand. Working closely with the Master Schedulers and Operations teams and ensuring effective customer communication
Key Objectives of the Role:
Orderbook Management (Reviewing impacts to schedule changes before acceptance, ensuring proactive and effective customer communication of issues/risks)
Delivery risk identification and mitigation, i.e. RM delivery slippages, Frozen Routes, Customer Approvals, Outages, Quality issues.
Key Customer Contact for a range of specific customers/Customer relationship management
Key interface between Customer, Supply Chain and Operations
Management of On-Time Delivery and Arrears
Understanding of the manufacturing processes
Customer LOBs/Updates
Quality/Technical/Concessions Approvals
RM/WIP/FG stock control/safety stock reviews
Adhoc Planning duties to support the MS’s and CSDM
Basic knowledge of customer contracts
The Applicant;
Degree Qualified preferred or equivalent relevant experience
Previous experience in a customer facing role
Planning/Scheduling/ S&OP experience desirable
Use of MRP/ERP systems (Tropos)
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
Strong Customer and Operational focus
Proven ability to build and maintain productive cross-functional relationships excellent communications and interpersonal skills
Experience working within a Manufacturing or similar fast paced environment
