You will be a part of this growth phase and will play a crucial role, providing support across the business and to our customers.
The company is based in state of the art premises and is part of the tech community at The Dock in Hull city centre, close to the train and bus stations and local amenities.

**Main purpose of the role**
The Product Specialist works at the intersection of customer support, marketing and sales. They will assist in the management of Vertual’s brands along with supporting the Product Specialists & Territory managers (sales) in their roles, to help generate sales from customers across the world.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Support the Product Specialists & Territory Managers and the Commercial Team
- Help build and maintain strong customer relationships and ensure customers get the most value from their VERT products
- Help to identify potential customers for Vertual products
- Support the sales and order fulfillment processes
- Provide input to other departments on the development of new products
- Work towards providing training for new and existing customers
- Help organise and attend conferences, workshops and training events
- Support the development of product literature and training materials
- Help coordinate social media channels, general editorial creation
- Any other duties commensurate with the grade and skills of the post holder as appropriate.
- The post holder will be expected to undertake all duties in line with the company’s Health and Safety policy and Quality policy
- The role will involve some UK and international travel.

**Skills & Qualifications**
- Radiotherapy/allied healthcare degree (clinical experience would be a bonus)
- An understanding of broad marketing principles
- Excellent planning and organizational skills, needs to be able to work to fixed deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Word, basic Excel and PowerPoint

**Person Specification**:
**Essential**:

- A degree-level education in a radiation treatment, scientific or medical field.
- Demonstrate a sound knowledge of radiotherapy or relevant allied health experience.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills, needs to be able to work to fixed deadlines.
- Good communication and customer relationship building skills
- Strong Presentation Skills
- A can-do attitude, a proactive approach, and a drive to succeed
- Flexibility and willingness to work in and support a small team of radiotherapy specialists & territory managers
- Self-motivated and conscientious

**Desirable**:

- A second language would be a bonus
- Commercial awareness, previous experience in a commercial role would be desirable
- Knowledge of CRM systems
- Proficient using social media platforms

**Terms and Conditions**:
**Contract**:Continuing with a three-month probationary period.
**Holidays**: 26 days per annum plus Bank holidays, increasing to a maximum of 30 days based on full years of interrupted service.
**Pension**: contribution up to 6% of salary following the probation period, or workplace pension scheme enrolment.
**Notice Period**: 3 months.
**Probationary Period**:3 months

The probationary period provides an opportunity for the employee to fit within the working practices of the company.
It shall be determined during this time whether the job is in line with expectations as defined by the Job Description, and by discussions at interview and prior to appointment. Opportunities for flexible or hybrid/remote working in the UK will be considered.

The full set and definitive terms and conditions will be specified in the employment contract.

Pay: £30,000.00-£44,000.00 per year
