Are you looking for a career in Planning? We now have an exciting opportunity for an Inbound Planning Assistant to join our Supply Chain & Logistics Planning Team. This Team is accountable for improving visibility, minimising the commercial impact of delays and facilitating improvements to the flow of all our stock.

This role supports the Planning Team to ensure the inbound flow of product into the network is aligned to the Commercial demands so availability and sales are maximised.

Your key responsibilities, among others, will include:

- Maintain PO data integrity via amendments in SAP
- Support the delivery of a reduction in the number of PO changes, improving efficiency and avoiding any unnecessary costs to the Business
- Complete inbound execution to deliver against commercial (Merchandise Planning) intake plan, and provide visibility of reasons for expected and actual miss
- Ensure risks and issues impacting commercial plan in flow of stock from FOB to warehouse receipt are managed and commercial teams advised
- Manage freight delays and mitigate commercial impact
- Provide intake diagnostics compiling a summary of the key drivers of the variance to the agreed intake plan by week / month for each BU / T Dept and communicate this to the relevant teams
- Support tactical and strategic Department transitions across the UK Network. Working with the Transition, Origin and Commercial teams in ensuring availability is not compromised during such times and adhering to project costs

We are looking for someone who has a good understanding of the end to end Buying and Merchandising and Supply Chain processes, including critical paths. In addition, you will need the following skills:

- Proficient in use of Excel & Power BI
- Use Excel to analyze reports and pull data
- Ability to organise and prioritise multiple tasks
- A strong communicator, who enjoys working as part of a team and able to build and develop strong key Business relationships
