**School Finance Officer (Mat Cover) | Chingford, Waltham Forest**
- Are you a looking for a finance opportunity in a school setting experience and have past experience with PSF?_

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual who is an ambitious and passionate professional and who will support our schools with their finance processes ensuring our schools deliver a high-quality education to the learners that attend the schools. The postholder will be part of the Regional Finance function and play a large part in delivering a high-quality service to our schools.

This post will be based in the regional hub London (Waltham Forest) and managed by the Finance Business Partner and will help support the team with 4 schools within the London hub.

**School Finance Officer (Mat Cover) responsibilities**:

- Salary: £32,925.00 - £34,491.00 Annually (FTE) - Term-time 41 weeks
- _12-month (At least) maternity cover - Immediate start required_
- To provide Finance support for the Academies.
- To be aware of and follow the Academies Financial Regulations Handbook, Trust policies and procedures.
- To ensure that the information held on the financial computerised management information systems and/or paper-based filing is compliant, accurate, maintained and adhered to in line with associated financial policies.
- To take responsibility of producing lists/information/data as required.
- To produce letters, documents, undertake typing and other IT based tasks relating to Finance.

**School Finance Officer (Mat Cover) Requirements**:

- GSCE grade C or equivalent in English and Maths.
- Competent use of IT packages including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Finance Experience.
- _Experience of using PSF a must_
- Good communication skills with a positive and enthusiastic approach.
- High level of personal organisation.
- Able to prioritise and manage workload effectively to secure successful outcomes within agreed scheduling***
