**Finance Officer
- 6-months(Maternity Cover)
- £16per hour**

This is an exciting opportunity for a Finance Officer to support the operations of the department, under a maternity cover contract.

**The role**
- Processing of Supplier invoices using the PO System for the College and subsidiary companies accurately and in accordance with the supplier payment terms
- Chasing of unauthorised invoices in a timely manner
- Organising emergency payments as required ensuring accuracy of transactions
- Being the first point of contact in respect of all purchase ledger queries
- Monthly reconciliation of all supplier accounts against statements
- Accurate processing of cashbook payments and receipts
- Preparation and posting of monthly, quarterly and annual journals as required
- Processing of all employee expenses in accordance with the Foundations expense policy
- Assisting with the online payment platform by processing queries
- Continual personal development of financial legislation and statutory requirements.
- To support the Senior Finance Officer as required
