We have an exciting opportunity for a strong and proven salesperson to head up our Butchery Sales.

As National account manager for Butchery you will be at the centre of this collaboration, enabling independent butchers to not only add value but add every day, big name brands to their portfolio.
The successful person will be someone who’s passionate about food and thrives on building relationships as this is a pivotal role that sits at the centre of an ambitious growth strategy, supporting the longest serving sector within The Flava People.
We are looking for someone with a strong and proven sales background, ideally from within the meat industry previously. You must be driven so that you can not only continue the momentum but also to continue to grow and develop relationships through collaboration,with the distributors and the smaller independent butchers. In turn you will have the opportunity to work with some of the biggest brands and help bring them to new area of the market. You will be delivering innovation and building on the work started withbusinesses across the national distributors.
**The National Account Manager for butchery is a key member of our commercial team reporting directly into the Sales Director. You will:**:

- Be the custodian for a maintaining and building great relationships with the national meat distributors.
- Have full ownership and accountability for our heritage.
- Be the voice (and tongue) of your customers; thoroughly understanding their needs & desires and ensuring this is met by our diverse brand & product propositions.
- Reinforce our position as thought-leaders & innovators within Butchery sector and build a credible, enviable and highly visible ‘Flava’ reputation.
- Go toe-to-toe with the competition and take the fight to them.

**The successful National Account Manager for butchery will ideally possess the following skills and experiences:**:

- Organised and able to manage multiple projects through a sales pipeline process.
- Able to prioritise the right opportunities.
- Team player - do what is right for the business even when sometimes that means de prioritising own opportunities for others.
- Take ownership / responsibility for the sector, including full P&L ownership and accountability
- Strategic thinking but also willing to get hands dirty when needed.
- Great communication skills to get everyone geared up behind new opportunities and fully understanding your customer challenges
- An insatiable appetite, curiosity and passion for both brands & food
- Account management experience from either the butchery, foodservice, food processing/manufacturing or FMCG sectors
- Actively embraces and entrepreneurial, family-owned business culture.
- Be Open, has humility and able to get along with a diverse team.
- Proven track record in collaborating and building relationships with customers.
- A great team player but strong enough to manage new ways of working.
