Quality Control Manager:
Our client is a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer based in London. The focus of their operations are high quality medicines for those with chronic pain. In the last financial year they have seen substantial growth in their market share, hence they are expandingthe Quality Department.
**Your new role**
Responsibilities include but are no limited to:

- Managing a team to maintain the highest standards of quality, and support with the strategic planning to meet the goals of the business
- Developing and sustaining a robust system for quality officer to follow to ensure the highest standards are maintained
- Liaise with QA department to ensure documentation process is complete and signing off procedures.
- Analytical testing of raw materials and finished products using HPLC, UV, FTIR and other techniques, eg Titration, GC, etc.
- Interpreting testing data, flagging any issues/deviations or OOS/OOT results
- Method validation, method transfer and/or method development using HPLC or other techniques, working to ICH/USP/EP/BP/VICH guidelines
- Attending monthly meeting to plan and organise strategy with the Senior Quality Management Team

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Have a PHD in Analytical or Chemistry Science related discipline or equivalent
- Proven track record of being successful with projects in the pharmaceutical industry
- Have hands-on experience in an analytical chemist/scientist role, ideally from pharma, CRO, contract testing industries
- Ability to manage, motivate and coordinate staff in an efficient manner
- Technical knowledge and at least 3 years of analytical methods including TLC, HPLC and other oral dosage forms
- Someone with great attention to detail and the ability to work in a methodical manner.
