Landsec Internships are exciting opportunities to join our business with six months of paid work experience. It’s important to us that Landsec reflects the communities we’re part of, which is why our internships aim to give people who might not have previously considered working in the real estate industry the chance to start their career in our organisation. Landsec Internships are entry level meaning it doesn’t matter if you have any work experience, what school you went to, or if you went to university.

You might be at the start of your career, or even looking for a change in career. The placements are designed to build your confidence, transferable skills and experience in the world of work, while giving you the opportunity to contribute new insights and perspectives to our business.

What’s involved?

The role - Central London Retail Intern

Our Central London Retail team is the first point of contact for 130+ brand partners. We drive the vibrancy and vitality that lies behind our Central London retail properties by proactively managing brand partner relationships, built on our knowledge and in depth understanding of retail and food & beverage to grow sales. As a team, we have all come from different retail backgrounds into Landsec. We are commercially driven, with a “can do” attitude and the skills to help optimise sales and footfall performance for our brand partners.

The role of Central London Retail Intern will be to support the team with their day-to-day purpose, to gain experience in how we support our brand partners in all aspects from sales, footfall, marketing, operational challenges and how this contributes to Landsec’s strategy. This will help contribute to Landsec’s wider purpose of creating sustainable places, connecting communities and realising potential.

You will work with the team to deliver an excellent service to brand partners, supporting them in all aspects of their trading operation. This may include analysing sales and footfall data, offering marketing and promotional support, and supporting with any day-to-day operational queries.

In this role, you will gain experience and knowledge of the current retail environment and how Landsec support our brand partners as a landlord and operator. You will have the opportunity to work with fantastic brands across retail, food and beverage. You’ll also have the opportunity to work with many other departments across Landsec, gaining exposure to the work of different teams.

We’re looking for someone who is energetic, enthusiastic and confident; who is eager to learn and develop in the role, with support from the team to build your transferable skills.
