We are looking to recruit an individual with a good underlying knowledge of finance, gained from a combination of practical experience and studies, coupled with a strong desire to get into the detail, learn, and further support all aspects of the finance function.

Joining our team at an exciting time as we look ahead to a continued period of growth, supporting the day-to-day operational needs of our finance team, you will be responsible for:
**Key responsibilities**:

- Purchase Ledger processing and reporting
- Management and updates of voucher supplier account
- Sales Ledger processing and reporting
- Credit control
- Bank Processing & reconciliation
- Management and reconciliation of Incentive payments
- Fixed Asset and depreciation calculations
- Prepayments and Accruals
- Overhead variation analysis
- Adhoc weekly and monthly reporting

**Core competencies**:

- High level of attention to detail & accuracy
- Good knowledge of Excel
- Effective time management
- Good analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to learn and progress through self-development

**Experience and attributes**:

- Previous experience within a finance team
- Experience of Sage Line 50 would be an advantage
- Ability to work as part of a team but also able to work independently
- Minimum AAT Level 2 or equivalent qualifications
- A desire to continue studying whilst also gaining practical finance experience from the ground up, to enable a well-rounded progression
