To work as part of the team within the branch to deliver sales, margin and profitability whilst providing excellent customer service.

To work with the Branch Manager to achieve all branch targets and to feedback ideas to improve performance

**THE JOB**

To drive sales within your area of responsibility in store, namely the equine market.
- Drive sales within the local equine market
- Stock Control within your area of responsibility within store
- Maintaining relationships both with customers and with colleagues
- Maintaining relationships with suppliers and Head Office departments
- Organising local equine events in the area
- Helping the Branch Manager asses current product offering and in store displays
- Offer feedback to Branch Manager and Head Office Departments on range
- Accurate cash handling as per company procedures
- Maintaining a safe working environment and highlighting any breaches in company Health and Safety policy to the Branch Manager

**SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALITIES REQUIRED**

**Essential**:

- Excellent equine knowledge
- Good time keeping and organisational skills.
- IT literate.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to adapt to changes in the market and to processes.
- Good problem solving skills.
- Ability to work well within a team environment.

**Desirable**
- Sales experience
- Agricultural knowledge
- RAMA/SQP experience
