The Howat Group is located in Cortonwood and is easily commutable from the surrounding South Yorkshire area including Sheffield, Doncaster or Barnsley.

The Group consists of 5 independently operational businesses covering multiple disciplines including forging, heat treatment, testing, machining, and global distribution of advanced nickel-based alloys & special steels.

We are a rapidly expanding business with a wide and varied customer base supplying material to customers globally.

Consequently, a full-time opportunity has arisen for a Sales order processor to join the Group based at our HQ in Cortonwood.

The role is full time, office-based working 5 days, Monday to Thursday 8:00am-4:30pm and 8:00am-2:30pm Friday. With interaction across all our sites and departments so there is plenty of variety through the working day

Duties & Responsibilities.
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Review and verify order information, including product codes, quantities, and pricing
- Enter orders into the system and ensure all necessary documentation is completed
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Communicate with customers regarding order status, changes, and any issues that may arise
- Maintain accurate records of all orders and related documentation.

Qualifications.
- GCSE’s or ‘A’ Level Qualification/s including English, Mathematics and Science.

Key Skills.
- Previous experience in order processing or a similar role preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent spoken and written communication.
- Skilled using a computer and be familiar using Microsoft Word and Excel
packages.
- Ability to build relationships and liaise with people at all levels of the business.
- Flexible attitude with multi-tasking skills.
- Attention to detail is essential.

Pay: From £22,000.00 per year
