- Manage a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring timely and accurate collection of outstanding debts
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly
- Collaborate with internal departments to gather relevant information and resolve billing discrepancies
- Conduct regular credit assessments and make informed decisions on credit limits and payment terms
- Monitor and review aged debt reports, taking appropriate actions to minimise overdue accounts
- Escalate complex cases to the Credit Manager and provide regular updates on the status of accounts
- Prepare regular financial reports and contribute to the overall credit control strategy
- Liaise with customers and internal departments to resolve queries in a timely and professional manner
- Bank Reconciliations
- Processing online Credit Card payments
- Achieving Target by reducing overdue debt
- Ad-Hoc duties to support the team

**The Successful Applicant**:

- Proven experience in credit control or a related financial role
- Strong understanding of credit control principles, processes, and best practices
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues
- Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office suite
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Experience of Sage Line 200
- Professional and organised
