The Recruitment Group is working with a British company that is an award-winning manufacturer that has a state-of-the-art manufacturing, distribution, and office building in Melton, East Yorkshire, and offers a great family feel. They are looking to recruit an Overseas Operations Coordinator to join their team at an exciting time in the development of the company.

**Purpose of the Overseas Operations Coordinator role**:
Our client is looking for an Overseas Operations Coordinator to lead on the setting up and management of satellite operations in China and India. This is a newly created role as part of an expanding team and would suit someone with a working knowledge of logistics and distribution, with a track record of developing efficient processes, particularly in overseas locations.

**Main duties and responsibilities of an Overseas Operations Coordinator**:

- Working with the sales team to establish and service demand in China and India.
- Set up and manage third-party overseas operations, remotely.
- Make strategic decisions to meet agreed targets for growth.
- Lead and get the best from remote teams.
- Occasional travel to China and India.
- Working closely with the relevant sales and purchasing team members to identify and take advantage of the opportunities available in these regions.
- Work in collaboration with the UK purchasing and forecasting coordinator to set up mirrored procurement and forecasting procedures for overseas satellite operations.
- Working with the Marketing Analyst to understand the regions you'll be working with.

**Experience / knowledge requirements for an Overseas Operations Coordinator**:

- Relevant degree or equivalent qualification(s) in business, logistics, global shipping, or another related field.
- Proficient with computer programs, such as MS Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present progress in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Commercially astute with a keen eye for figures.
- Strong work ethic and time-management skills.
- Full driving licence and means of transport.
