Our client is experiencing fantastic growth and seeking an addition to their quality team by way of a Quality Controller. This role will suit someone who has started a career in Technical Manufacturing and would love the opportunity to help shape, develop and progress a company as they grow.

**The company**

Are a well-established technical manufacturing company who develop and manufacture world leading gas flow measurement instrumentation for the Oil and Gas industry. Currently in the UK, they are a small team of 16 however with great successes, they are seeking to grow. Globally they work with partners in Norway, Poland, UAE, Malaysia and USA which means some travel may be necessary with this role. The are a passionate team of talented Engineers who work in a friendly environment and are seeking a like minded individual to become a dedicated member of the quality team.

**The role**

Joining a team of 3, this role will play an important role in shaping the future procedures within the company and will include the following duties and responsibilities:

- To assist in the creation to quality standards, policies and procedures to meet exacting standards
- Ensure the maintenance of the QMS documentation system and that its updated at all times
- Communicating updates, changes in policies, processes, procedures ensuring version control is upheld and that records and forms are all correct
- Ensure the efficiency of the QMS providing constant improvements and developments as required
- Lead, influence and coordinate all teams across the company to improve processes
- Create simple and practical quality management documents, converting activities into clear flow charts and processes
- Ensure all employees perform work according to HSE manual and Safety instructions

**The person**

This is a many and varied role and will give you a brilliant opportunity to expand on your experience and knowledge and progress your career with the company. We are seeking someone with the following skills and attributes:

- Ideally educated to Degree level within a relevant Engineering/ Scientific Subject
- Some demonstrable experience within a quality position would be helpful
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 is essential
- Root cause investigations to resolve quality issues
- Some experience with equipment production for operation in hazardous locations (ATEX) or similar would be very helpful
- Experience/ knowledge of manufacturing electronics products
- The ability to work effectively in a complex and diverse environment, while adapting to change and maintaining focus
- A keen eye for detail is essential and a passion for continuous improvement

The working hours are 37.5 hours a week with some flexibility around working hours. Starting salary £29,000 - £35,000 depending on experience and a benefits package is offered too
