Amazon Transportation Services Europe (ATS EU) is a high-powered creative organization which is shaping the transportation planning and execution within the Middle Mile operations network. This team develops and applies innovative transportation managementconcepts to improve and enhance the transportation network and bring the best customer experience through reliability and cost efficiencies.
As a Senior Program Manager for Network Operations (NetOps), you'll lead cross-organization programs driving strategic initiatives and solving complex problems around network operations, network excellence and labor planning for the Amazon Transportation networkin EU. You will be with close interaction to our ATS teams, operational Sort Center teams and Global Tech stakeholders. You will be working on multiple large-scale initiatives to innovate our Middle Mile operations. The role is inherently cross-functionaland the responsibilities include working across organizations and engaging with other Program Managers, Product Managers, Operations leads and Senior Leadership.

Key job responsibilities
- Own program management activities and metrics for the EU ATS NetOps team.
- Independently own the design, development, deploy, and maintenance of large scale projects.
- Set and clarify the business requirements and targets with the team.
- Establish and maintain the operations metrics and communicate them to leadership and other stakeholders through daily/weekly review meetings.
- Document the standard operations processes and take proactive steps to ensure that best practices are shared across all departments and among the network.
- Lead analytical projects to drive relevant business insights allowing us to automate several different use-cases.
- Work closely with stakeholders to build and secure support and resources for projects and initiatives in their areas.
- Lead and innovate new research projects with the aim to improve our network's performance.
- Partner with product management teams to document the standard operations processes and take proactive steps to ensure that best practices are shared across all departments and among the network.

**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent and 5+ years experience in management consulting, product management, business development, retail, FMCG or e-commerce in an international, fast paced environment.
- Good analytical and technical ability including creative problem solving.
- Experience in business case decision-making, complex problem-solving capabilities and high level of attention to details.
- Proven ability to influence others without having positional authority.
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience in Project Management
- Advanced in Excel
- Basic knowledge of SQL
- Basic knowledge of any programming languages (Python, R or other)

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- Master’s Degree, Advanced Degree (MBA/PhD) or similar education in Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a similar related discipline.
- Experience collaborating and effectively communicating (written & verbal) with senior management, technology teams, and international stakeholders.
- Advanced in Project or Product Management.
